The NiteTrip night light was designed out of our personal need for a night lighting solution that was energy efficient, portable and non dependant on electricity, low or no reliance on hunting for the switch (motion activated) designed to look good where ever it happens to be living - the little black dress of night lights you could say.

Once the motion sensor has detected movement, the LED will brightly light up the area around, and because it is battery powered, you can take it with you around the house without disturbing others. As the sun rises or the location becomes lit, the light will automatically shut off, extending the life of your batteries. For your convenience you can set the automatic shut-off time between 30 seconds to five minutes.

Energy Efficient

The NiteTrip light source is a blue LED, which will last over 100,000 hours and is battery operated saving considerable energy as compared to incandescent and bulb lighting.

Relaxed Light

Additionally our light produces a wavelength of 400nm that is the same as the Theta waves (4 - 8hz) produced by the brain in a drowsy state. Typical nightlights may cause the brain to produce Alpha waves (8 - 12hz), which can trigger a fully-awake state. The NiteTrip light provides just enough light to make your way safely without over-stimulating your brain. So you can take your night trip, then get back to sleep faster.

Motion Activation

You can adjust the amount of time that NiteTrip emits light after it automatically turns on – from 30 seconds to always on. If the timing dial is set for 30 seconds, the light stays on for 30 seconds after you leave the room. If the dial is set to override, the light stays on all the time, even after you leave the room.
